I was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
At the age of two, I moved to Tegucigalpa, Honduras with my parents. I grew up there until I was 14 years old, and then we returned to San Pedro Sula, just on time for my quinceaňera party.
Since I was a child, I grew up seeing the Service of helping others, my parents were always dedicated to helping those in need. My mother was a volunteer at the hospital unit for women with cancer. My father studied in Spain at a Catholic Redemptorist Institution and learned at a very young age to serve. In Honduras, my father was a successful businessman and was the number one exporter for coffee to Germany and the United States. He was also a Lion member in a local Honduran Club.
After graduating from high school, I came to the United States for my university studies and graduated with a degree in business. I always felt passion for learning other languages, and after graduating from university, I decided to move and study in Italy and France. In Italy, I took a jewelry course, and to this day making jewelry is my hobby and I make my own jewelry.
In 2004 I attended a Lions Club event, where I was invited to form a new club. From that moment my life changed and I gave my life to Service. I thank God for giving me this opportunity to continue serving those most in need.
I am thankful for my dad and mom, who are 97 and 90 years old respectively, my sister, and my beautiful daughter, Francesca, who is the light of my eyes!
